Welcome to my page dedicated entirely to videogames. Now I don't care what anyone says: JUST SHUT UP AND LISTEN TO ME, OKAY? Videogames are cool. Although I do think the term 'videogames' is rank. Indeed.
Anyway, I'll just blabber on about different things here, so have a look, if you can be bothered, you filthy, filthy whore...
There used to be only two major candidates in the town of videogames: Sega and Nintendo. However, Sony joined the war a few years ago with the Playstation, which is reknowned for making videogames 'cool and trendy', a bit like Tony Blair, then eh? (sorry I don't know what I'm talking about). Anyway, see this:

Ah, sweet Ninty, how I love thee. Yes, I looove Nintendo and it's games. Why? Well, even though a great deal of their stuff tends to be 'cute', there is NO denying that their games rule the Earth. Examples? Mario 64, Zelda: The Ocarina of Time, Mario Kart 64, 1080 Snowboarding, Yoshi's Island (yes the SNES game). Oh and Super Metroid. And Smash Brothers. And Zelda on the GameBoy... Games... all.. sooooo.... good... Yes.
Although the success of the N64 has been somewhat... underwhelming to say the least - it SHOULD be the most popular console in the World, and only isn't beause of Sony's marketing and money. Anyway, to combat the recent release of the Sega Dreamcast and Playstation 2 specs, Nintendo have announced a new console, originally titled 'Project Dolphin' is now just called 'Next Generation Nintendo'. And let's all pray they don't name it Nintendo 256 or anything to do with sea animals. Please Nintendo.... don't do that!

Oh poor Sega. They've just had bad luck. Considering that they make Very Good Games Indeed?, anyway. After the massive success of the Megadrive (which was primarily down to EA and their FIFA games) Sega released the Saturn, perhaps a little premature so that it could try and get a secure user base before Sony's monstrous Playstation was released. The games showed it and although some were eventually excellent (Fighters Megamix, Panzer Dragoon Saga) Sega had already messed up big time. Their new machine, the Dreamcast, is showing promise, though. Released here in September, I can only wish them the best of luck. And Sonic Adventure is the first good Sonic game in my opinion. Well they need all the luck they can get, seeing as they are starting to make GameBoy games(!). HA!

Ah here he comes, Mr 'Big and Hard'... Only joking. Sony ( www.playstation.com ) are cool. The Playstation is cool. Perhaps a little too 'cool' for some people's liking... But if it wasn't for them, we'd have no Gran Turismo, no Tekken, no Ridge Racer... well actually, that's not entirely true. You see, the Playstaion X (it's development title) was originally a callobration betwwen Sony and Nintendo, otherwise known as the Super CD-ROM. However, Nintendo pulled out of the deal when Sony announced that it would be asking for a hefty amount of the revenue generated from the games (almost all of it). And I don't blame them, to be honest. Anyway, in a mood, Sony went off and transformed the Super CD into a standalone machine called the Playstation (must have taken them ages to think of that one). It's success has been phenomenal. The games are good. Everyone knows what a Playstaion is. Well done Sony. You did good, this time. But will PS2 do as well? Only time will tell, but things aren't looking too good at the moment... high development cost for software houses, and problems related to actually making the processor for the damn thing! Careful now, Mr. Sony, for you tread on thin ice...

DIGITISER (aka DIGI)
Digitiser the World's only daily computer mag. And, it's one of the few actually funny ones left. I remeber when CVG and NMS used be quite jolly (watch the exploding fireballs of doom, marlon, etc, etc) wheras now they're just kids magazines. Oh no, sorry, CVG is aimed towards the casual gamer, therefore any game that doesn't feature real cars, football, or a 'banging' soundtrack, is crap. Nice one EMAP. Anyway I digress...
Digi... yes that's what I was talking about. Well, it's hard to explain, so all I can say is look at page 670 on Channel 4 Teletext and see if you get it. If not, don't worry. No lying. Rare are cool. As Pants. Rare, in my humble opinion, are the most talented software designers EVER. If you don't know who they are, you must either be a) not very clever; or b) plain stupid. Who are they? Well, they made these games (see if you recognise any of them...): Blast Corps, Banjo-Kazooie, GoldenEye, Killer Instinct (yay!), Donkey Kong Coutry, BattleToads (ha! remember that, anyone?), Solar Jetman, etc etc. IN OTHER WORDS, THEY TEND TO MAKE VERY GOOD GAMES. ALL THE TIME.
Soon they have some amazing new games coming out: Jet Force Gemini, Donkey Kong 64, the promising Conker's Quest, and, of course... Perfect Dark. Which I can guarantee will be the new Best Game Of All Time?. Anyway, for more, go and have a look at their website. It's quite funny and there are loads of things to do and look at there. Trust me!

I'm not sure why I started doing this, I think it was because there are no new, good games being released at the moment... but I've become an emulation junkie... I'm sorry, but at least I can admit I have a problem. But come on, some of these old games are classics, and still cool. You'll also find, if you were unable to play certain games in the past (like foreign games), you'll be able to now! Chack out Plasticman's Emulation Zone for all the Roms and info you'll need. Oh, and here are smoe games I reccomend:
